Antidepressants are commonly used to treat depression, but how effective are they? In this episode, we discuss the concept of the minimal clinically important difference (MCID) and how it can be applied to assess antidepressant efficacy in treating depression. Specifically, knowing MCID estimates helps to shed light on recent controversies regarding antidepressant efficacy.
